Please go ahead.
Hi!
My aim was to get in time for 12.8 debian point release, but obviously I was
too late.
Now I wonder what should we do. Because for 12.9, there will be another qemu
stable release (the release is planned on Nov-20), or maybe two.
I can upload this already reviewed and confirmed de12u8 now, and make another
deb12u9 when a new release is ready, or I can omit *this* deb12u8 and drop the
review on the floor, and re-do a *new* deb12u8 with more fixes later.
From my point of view, uploading this reviewed deb12u8 now is better in the
sense anyone's work is not dropped and on the next upload there will be less
work.
What do you think?
That sounds fine. It's less work for the next review, and if you don't find the
time for another update, at least 12.9 will get these fixes.
Cheers,
Emilio
