libgit2 has now transitioned to an appropriate version.
bctoolbox needs an upload as well, would be nice to get that sorted out, although I don't think that is a blocker.
It is sufficient to just update the package to a recent upstream version to get this fixed.
Regarding rustc, why is it affected by this transition? I don't see it (build-)depending on mbedtls.
It seems to be transitively included because of rust-parsec-service, but as mentioned before in the thread it works completely fine with mbedtls 2.28.
