I request permission to do the transition for poppler 24.08.
This is the latest monthly release and is the version that Ubuntu
24.10 will use. Poppler unfortunately bumps the soname with every
monthly release. I will probably skip the next few poppler releases
and do the next transition after this one later in the year.
There are 2 packages that fail to build
- calligra has a Salsa merge request open for 6 weeks. I can NMU calligra.
- openboard fails to build with current ffmpeg and the Debian tracker
says it is marked for autoremoval now.
