Indeed, I have:
* SPIRV had a Debian-specific patch, where .pc files were indented by 4 spaces;
pkgconf didn’t support it
-> reported upstream with a patch, pkgconf patched, Debian patch to SPIRV
adjusted to workaround
* three more packages so far are found to FTBFS with pkgconf but not pkg-config
-> bugs reported:
