A lot of files in the debian dir got double entries?! Only 8 bugs are listed
in the changelog and you say more than 20 are fixed?

yes, I say ~20 altho only 8 are mentionned in the changelog.

After releasing 12.18.2-1, i took the time to look further into the
BTS entries and it turned out that a big amount of bugs were also
fixed. (We can agree that i should have done that before uploading).

Instead of closing them in 12.18.2-2, which i felt would have been
inappropriate, i closed them manually. Most of my messages included
the following mention:
"I don't know exactly when this has been fixed, but it doesn't apply to
= 12.18.2-1 ."

I hope this clarifies the situation,
