I was taken completely by surprise (via #980567) that PHP 8 is even available in Debian now, and back when I asked you to provide a release candidate via experimental, so that we could test software with it before the release, some months ago, you denied that, so colour me surprised to get a bugreport from it now. As things are, I won’t upgrade php-react-promise now. If I find the time I may backport the two commits mentioned to fix the one issue reported, but… it’s already tight. (Upgrading is completely out of the picture, as this involves multiple packages, and there is a dependency chain reaching as far as composer. By the way, if the composer maintainers with to take over the reactphp packages, that could be arranged.) I also had to actively search for this, wondering which PHP version we’d be having with bullseye then… and this was not obvious to find. bye, //mirabilos -- Yes, I hate users and I want them to suffer. -- Marco d'Itri on gmane.linux.debian.devel.general
