Thank you, I am going ahead now. Rdeps should be all fine. The removed or changed symbols were not used by anything in the archive, so it was *really* private API/ABI. In any case we decided to bump the virtual packages names to make sure all of Qt migrates simultaneously (otherwise some modules would not work because of the internal structures version check in Qt). -- Dmitry Shachnev
