Yes, the set of scim packages in testing (based on scim 1.0) are currently installable and working, altough rather old and missing a few new packages (which requires scim 1.2 or 1.4). As the RMs don't want to remove scim-* packages from testing for this reason, I won't waste time on filing bugs (I've send notices about ABI transitions to the maintainers), and spend time on fixing the packages instead.
