Hi, what would it take to get a fix to 159708 into sarge? This concerns a slowdown that is quite noticable on all my installations of sarge. I consider the risk (replacing "depmod -a" by "depmod -A") low risk, but since it is a polish issue and modutils is frozen, I'd perfectly understand a "no way".
If it is possible, I guess the right path is uploading a new version with just this fix to unstable, letting it age there, and finally hinting it through. Correct? (The same version of modutils is in unstable and testing.) Thanks for any advice, -- Robbe
