This approach works (as in "successfully produces a package"). However, downgrading binutils from 2.15-1 to 2.14.90.0.7-5 also requires using the sarge-version of the compilers (gcc-3.3: 3.3.4-6sarge1 instead of 3.3.4-9). Regards, uLI
