.. and on third thought ... since libtool obsoletes the need of foo-dev to depend on bar-dev ... we can actually forget about the interim opencdk8.11 package. In other words, even though libopencdk8 build-depends on libgcrypt7, gnutls11 can build-depend on both libopencdk8 and libgcrypt_11_. Thanks to vorlon for noticing this. (And, not to forget: thanks to the many people who implemented and debugged symbol versioning.) The whole transition plan thus boils down to: * include gcrypt11 and gnutls11 in d-i as soon as they're in Testing. * Wait until they've progressed to the newest business card CD-ROMs. * rebuild exim4 against them. -- Matthias Urlichs
