There are no outstanding RC bugs on this source package, and therefore no reason for the release team to be involved in removal of it. Please file a bug against ftp.debian.org requesting its removal from unstable first, if you have the maintainer's consent for this; once it has been removed from unstable, the removal from testing will follow automatically.
