Hi. The stable release of Debian which is distributed in CDs does not have a working TeX (!).
This is fixed in tetex-bin_0.9.981113-3, uploaded nearly three months ago, but unfortunately this is still in the proposed-updates directory. Are there any plans to release Debian 2.1 r5 sometime soon? Thanks. -- "a20c5283eda3054acbd82c2a188975bb" (a truly random sig)
