Dear maintainers, it looks like in the latest version of kdebase in jessie (which is 4.13.XX ), the bug is no more existent.
Suspend to disk is now working again, as well as from kmenu as by "closing- lid"-event as well. Happy this is working again! Thank you for the fast fix. You can safely close this bugreport.
