Comment #18 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195044#c18 says the problem is adressed by "please wait" notification in the USB widget. All comments says that the sync problem is intended behavior in Linux / Unix. However, there is many duplicates reports, and Kde devs take this seriously because it's a user experience problem (rather than a bug). I will test the "please wait" notification.
