Package: phonon-backend-gstreamer Version: 4:4.6.0.0-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have phonon-backend-gstreamer working fine here with PulseAudio (and actually that's the way recommended by upstream [1]). So it's incorrect for that package to depend on gstreamer0.10-alsa - and also annoying, as it prevents me from uninstalling this unnecessary backend. There's the virtual package gstreamer0.10-audiosink in case you want to ensure the user has *some* sink installed.
