Package: kde-core Version: 5:48 Severity: important
All I get out of the new KDE is a black screen with a mouse pointer, no CPU or disk activity, it just sits there and does nothing. I am running with kde-core only, perhaps there is a missing dependency?: $ wajig list-installed | grep ^k kaboom kappfinder kazehakase kazehakase-gecko kazehakase-webkit kbuild kde-core kde-icons-oxygen kdebase kdebase-bin kdebase-data kdebase-runtime kdebase-runtime-bin-kde4 kdebase-runtime-data kdebase-runtime-data-common kdebase-workspace-libs4+5 kdelibs kdelibs-bin kdelibs-data kdelibs4c2a kdelibs5 kdelibs5-data kdepasswd kdepimlibs-data kdepimlibs5 kdissert keepassx kerneloops kfind kflickr klibc-utils kmix konqueror konqueror-nsplugins konsole kopete kplayer ksmserver ksnapshot ksysguard ksysguardd kuser kwifimanager kwin kwlan kwrite -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages kde-core depends on: ii arts 1.5.9-3 sound system from the official KDE ii kdebase 4:4.2.2-1 base applications from the officia ii kdelibs 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-2 core libraries from the official K kde-core recommends no packages.
