Hi,
If libqtcore4 4.4.0 is installed kde 4.1.2 does not start correctly.
(The
menubar doesn't show up, krunner doesn't run anything, a gray and white
checked background is shown instead of normal wallpaper, etc.)
All of kde 4.1.2 needs to depend on qt4 version 4.4.3 or later. (At
least
installing these package versions fixed the problem for me.)
