When trying to print from an application, during initialisation of printing 
system,
it stops, the list of printers is not showed and the message (translated from 
french) appears:

A problem appears during requiring list of printers. Connection to CUPS server 
failed. Check the
status of CUPS server and see if it's properly installed and running. Error: 
localhost: read failed (15)

http://localhost:631 is working like a charm, printing of test pages from cups 
to. If KDEprint is
runned with administrator rights, the printer list is shown. Printing from 
openoffice is not working to.

The problem appears since the last update.
