When trying to print from an application, during initialisation of printing system, it stops, the list of printers is not showed and the message (translated from french) appears: A problem appears during requiring list of printers. Connection to CUPS server failed. Check the status of CUPS server and see if it's properly installed and running. Error: localhost: read failed (15) http://localhost:631 is working like a charm, printing of test pages from cups to. If KDEprint is runned with administrator rights, the printer list is shown. Printing from openoffice is not working to.
