Dear Maintainer,
please consider replacing hard dependencies with recommendations for
applications in this metapackage. Since Debian does not offer a minimal desktop
during installation, users are forced to have all default applications in the
system. Removing any of them breaks the kde-standard dependency, which usually
leads to the automatic removal of packages important for the environment. Of
course, it is possible to install the base system and then individual packages,
but this is unnecessarily time-consuming and difficult for the average user, if
only because of the need to resolve conflicts of network interfaces created
without initially using NetworkManager. The current list of applications is
quite extensive and, in my opinion, includes applications that are not very
popular even among KDE users. Of course, these are personal preferences, but
the current dependency system does not allow any freedom in this matter, and
the solution to this problem seems quite simple to me. In gnome matapacke this
is applied, for example, in the case of the music player.

Best regards
Piotr
