Thanks for packaging qt6-webengine! It's really a pleasure using it. That said, I'd like to make sure that my MR [1], which addresses 85 security related issues, does not get overlooked. It also demonstrates the workflow that I used to build the patchset: importing from the upstream qtwebengine-chromium project. I can personally confirm that this patchset works---I'm using it presently to browse with qutebrowser and KDE. I was actually using it before the 6.7.2 upload; i.e., I was building a stripped-down version of the qtwebengine 6.7.2 against qt 6.6, and it worked (as far as I could tell). This gives me hope that we may be able to provide some security support for qtwebengine in stable for at least some time.
