Works here. Of course, it only changes the settings for the "Default" instance, whatever that is. When I want to change my printer settings, though, I never use the Instances tab. Rather, I just right-click on my printer, select Configure, and alter the settings, etc. It certainly seems to work. No Admin mode required. Does this work for you? I don't have any settings specific printer settings in my ~/.lpoptions (oddly enough, because I know it used to put them there) but it does seem to work anyway. Cheers, Christopher Martin
