Package: mpeglib Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: normal Bug #245192 reported distortion when playing MP3's through artsd. The problem was actually with mpeglib. The resolution was that version 3.2.3 was going into Sid and hence into Sarge, but that version never made it into Sarge and the problem still exists.
