Package: kde Version: 4:3.1.2 Severity: normal I started KDE. During the startup process, I pressed Alt+F2 and started to enter an URL. While entering the URL, the list of possible completions (certain previously entered URLs) was shown. Since KNode belonged to my saved session, KNode was started and requested access to the digital wallet "kdewallet". A message window popped up, telling me that KNode wanted this access.
The KWallet message window was shown in front of the URL entering dialog but the completion list was shown in front of the KWallet message window although belonging to the URL entering dialog. From this point on, all keyboard and mouse events were ignored. Neither the window manager nor any application could be controlled via keyboard or mouse. So it was necessary to kill processes via the "kill" command. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-pike Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Versions of packages kde depends on: ii kde-amusements 4:3.1.2 The K Desktop Environment (Games a ii kde-core 4:3.1.2 The K Desktop Environment (Core) ii kdeaddons 4:3.2.3-2 add-on plugins and applets provide ii kdeadmin 4:3.2.2-1 KDE Administration tools metapacka ii kdeartwork 4:3.2.3-2 themes, styles and more from the o ii kdegraphics 4:3.2.3-1.1 KDE Graphics metapackage ii kdemultimedia 4:3.2.2-1 KDE Multimedia metapackage ii kdenetwork 4:3.2.2-1 KDE Network metapackage ii kdepim 4:3.2.2-2 KDE Personal Information Managemen ii kdeutils 4:3.2.2-2 KDE Utilities metapackage ii quanta 1:3.2.2-1 web development environment for KD -- no debconf information
