In this version of Kopete, most abrupt disconnections and connection failures do not result in an error message. In the numerous instances in which I've been disconnected and prevented from connecting (e.g. Jabber server is down), the only time I've gotten a notice in a dialog to this effect (in this version) is when it cannot find the host 'login.passport.com' (MSN) and when connection to a Jabber server fails.
