Package: kmenuedit Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #256862 I had the same behaviour on my machine and I found that this was caused by having a .config (a kernel sample config) in my home directory.
This caused: trying to create local folder: Not a directory failed to create /home/migliava/.config/menus/ kmenuedit: WARNING: Could not read /home/migliava/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu on my machine. moving .config out of the way solved the issue. I'm wondering if this would also be the case for the others experiencing this bug. Maybe we should report it upstream for proper actions.
