Hi! I have another problem with kdm. I have a debian/sid system with kde 3.2, kdm, ... The user authentification is done via openldap.
When kdm starts, everything is as usual, the userlist is available in the left and I can login and work with kde. When I close kde, kdm should restart, but it doesn't. The text login appears and no retry to start the X server is made. I'm searching for several hours now and I'm not able to find a hint, why this happens...
There is one line in syslog that complains about a bad signal, but I don't know why this signal appears. Kdm works fine on all my other PCs, but I don't have ldap there, so I think the problem is the combination kdm+ldap...
