I had the same problem on Sarge, but I noticed that the program was complaining :
kcmshell: WARNING: Module /var/lib/menu-xdg/applications/menu-xdg/clock.desktop doesn't specify a library! Removing this file enables the kcmshell clock module. Indeed this file specifies inside a xlock screen saver. And dpkg -S on this file shows nothing. Since the machine was an upgrade from Woody I checked a clean Sarge installation and the file is not there, so I assume that it remained from the upgrade - but again I'm not sure. -- I.Ioannou <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
