On Mon Mar 21 00:25:23 2005, [EMAIL PROTECTED] told me that the message list blanking problem was fixed "from 3.3.2 (-2 i think)." I still had the problem, so I decided to upgrade to the latest KDE stable version of KMail: 1.8.1.
I'm still having very frequent blanking of the message pane. I'm not seeing very much crashing (thankfully), but the lackluster IMAP support definitely hurts. Also, I think it's on the wishlist, but is KMail going to soon be able to display IMAP messages when it's offline? I waste a lot of time watching KMail download and cache messages - that are then not viewable when I go offline. Worse, if you view a message, view a second message, and then return to the first message - KMail seems to re-download the entire first message! This is very tedious! Thanks.
