I think that IMAP access is pretty fundamental to KMail. If it's not going to pop up a message saying something to the effect of "You can't check mail across this type of protocol without installing the kdepim-kio-plugins package" then kdepim-kio-plugins should be installed by default along with KMail.
Just a frustrated user, who thought the latest KMail was totally messed up and had to look around Google for 10 minutes to get his mail working. Chris. PS - Changing programming methods to check messages should remain transparent to the user. This bug falls under that cateogory. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
