In the days preceding the official release, the KDE 3.3 tag was moved several times for various critical bugfixes. The bugs fixed in official KDE 3.3 are still present in the Debian packages and will make bug reported against Debian KDE packages much harder to trace. For example, the JuK music manager had several fixes checked in after the 3.3 release was first tagged, with the tag moved for every fix. It may well be that the bugs already reported against Debian JuK are not present in the official KDE 3.3 release. Please update all KDE 3.3 packages to the official release. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages kdebase depends on: ii kappfinder 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Application Finder ii kate 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Advanced Text Editor ii kcontrol 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Control Center ii kdebase-bin 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Base (binaries) ii kdebase-data 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Base (shared data) ii kdebase-kio-plugins 4:3.3.0-1 KDE I/O Slaves ii kdepasswd 4:3.3.0-1 KDE password changer ii kdeprint 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Print ii kdesktop 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Desktop ii kfind 4:3.3.0-1 KDE File Find Utility ii khelpcenter 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Help Center ii kicker 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Desktop Panel ii klipper 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Clipboard ii kmenuedit 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Menu Editor ii konqueror 4:3.3.0-1 KDE's advanced File Manager, Web B ii konqueror-nsplugins 4:3.3.0-1 Netscape plugin support for Konque ii konsole 4:3.3.0-1 KDE X terminal emulator ii kpager 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Desktop Pager ii kpersonalizer 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Personalizer ii ksmserver 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Session Manager ii ksplash 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Splash Screen ii ksysguard 4:3.3.0-1 KDE System Guard ii ktip 4:3.3.0-1 Kandalf's Useful Tips ii kwin 4:3.3.0-1 KDE Window Manager ii libkonq4 4:3.3.0-1 Core libraries for KDE's file mana -- no debconf information --------------enigDBC55A9D686A0737AACFF96A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFBKd4y3xaj2GOvgP0RAo64AJ9N2WH6NU9CVbPPhhZ0wGk76mTu7gCgz0DY 5vaUuaMyDse/ALPtyngm4YE= =PiBM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigDBC55A9D686A0737AACFF96A-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 267578-done) by bugs.debian.org; 16 Jan 2005 20:44:38 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jan 16 12:44:38 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from pooh.kjernsmo.net [217.77.32.186] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CqHGI-0001sv-00; Sun, 16 Jan 2005 12:44:38 -0800 Received: from ti200710a080-4787.bb.online.no ([80.213.162.181] helo=localhost) by pooh.kjernsmo.net with esmtp (Exim 4.34) id 1CqHFk-0003R9-Pg for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Sun, 16 Jan 2005 21:44:04 +0100 Received: from kjetil by localhost with local (Exim 3.36 #1 (Debian)) id 1CqHFG-0000fV-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sun, 16 Jan 2005 21:43:34 +0100 From: Kjetil Kjernsmo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: KDE 3.3 is now official Date: Sun, 16 Jan 2005 21:43:32 +0100 User-Agent: KMail/1.7.1 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Kjetil Kjernsmo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: Since the current 3.3 packages are now the official once, I guess this bug can be closed.
