Hello, I also join this, I have to set up whitelists to receive the emails.
On phpMyAdmin I tried to set the Sender header but it does not work that well. mailman has "DMARC mitigations" that are quite effective by replacing the From by a name hosted on the sending domain. At least do like email hosting platforms and provide a _spf.debian.org so users can use "include:_spf.debian.org" without guessing the full list of Debian servers that send emails. -- William Desportes ---- Le Fri, 07 Nov 2025 02:20:55 +0100 [email protected] a écrit ---- > Dear Debian teams, > > Can you solve the problem of e-mails always detected in "Junk Emails"/"Spams" > folder? > SPF/DKIM/DMARC > > For example, a part of several e-mail logs: > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=salsa.debian.org; dkim=none (message not signed) > header.d=none;dmarc=none action=none header.from=salsa.debian.org; > Received-SPF: None (protection.outlook.com: salsa.debian.org does not > designate permitted sender hosts) > ... > ------------------ > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=lists.debian.org; dkim=fail (signature did not verify) > header.d=rclobus.nl;dmarc=none action=none header.from=rclobus.nl; > Received-SPF: None (protection.outlook.com: lists.debian.org does not > designate permitted sender hosts) > ... > ---------------- > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=lists.debian.org; dkim=pass (signature was verified) > header.d=bugs.debian.org;dmarc=bestguesspass action=none > header.from=bugs.debian.org;compauth=pass reason=109 > Received-SPF: None (protection.outlook.com: lists.debian.org does not > designate permitted sender hosts) > ... > ---------------- > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=tracker.debian.org; dkim=pass (signature was verified) > header.d=bugs.debian.org;dmarc=bestguesspass action=none > header.from=bugs.debian.org;compauth=pass reason=109 > Received-SPF: None (protection.outlook.com: tracker.debian.org does not > designate permitted sender hosts) > ... > ---------------- > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=tracker.debian.org; dkim=fail (signature did not verify) > header.d=debian.org;dmarc=none action=none > header.from=debian.org;compauth=pass reason=105 > Received-SPF: None (protection.outlook.com: tracker.debian.org does not > designate permitted sender hosts) > ... > ---------------- > ... > Authentication-Results: spf=pass (sender IP is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > smtp.mailfrom=alioth-lists.debian.net; dkim=timeout (key query timeout) > header.d=alioth-lists.debian.net;dkim=fail (signature did not verify) > header.d=bugs.debian.org;dmarc=none action=none header.from=bugs.debian.org; > Received-SPF: Pass (protection.outlook.com: domain of alioth-lists.debian.net > designates XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX as permitted sender) > receiver=protection.outlook.com; client-ip=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX; > helo=alioth-lists-01.debian.net; pr=C > ... > ---------------- > > Thanks in advance. > > Regards, > > Neustradamus
