Hi all,

This is a message to all Outreachy participants, just to make sure we are all
at the same page.

Please check the list of tasks published on the projects page at Outreachy
website, and claim tasks to work on. There are plenty of documentation-related
tasks that are a good fit for newcomers.

The matrix channel is super active and you should be all there
(#debian-openqa:matrix.debian.org). Please let me know if you're still having
trouble to connect. I'm not there all the time, but I'll try to go over the
backlog at some point this weekend and be ready for the week.

The great thing about the channel is that you can help each other while we are
away, as you are way to many for our limited mentoring capacity. Please help
your peers troubleshooting whenever you can, and remember that mentorship is
also a great contribution to the project ;-)

I've reserved timeslots in my schedule for the next week, to help those who are
still trying to setup a local instance of openqa. I'll be there on Monday,
Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-9:00 AM, Montreal time (UTC-4). Roland and
Phil will connect occasionally, but at this point we've agreed that it is
better if they concentrate in the infrastructure and documentation, to make
sure we all have a more clear path to go.

Finally, please favor group channels over private messages or emails, as we are
having a hard time to follow up in so many parallel conversations ;-)

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, and many thanks for your enthusiasm and
interest in Debian!

Tassia.

- Roland and Phil, please fill in if I forget anything
