Dear Maintainer,
The instance of disto-tracker on tracker.debian.org uses the old glossy
logo of Debian, served at the following address:
https://tracker.debian.org/static/img/logo.png
The new logo that is not glossy can be found at the following address:
https://www.debian.org/logos/openlogo-nd-100.png
I wanted to provide a merge-request on Salsa, but this seems to be
instance-specific as no PNG files seems to be stored inside of the
distro-tracker repository.
So it seems to me that only an administrator of tracker.debian.org can
update this logo, and there is nothing more that I can do from my side
other than opening this bug. If this is not the case, please let me know
how I can help.
Bests,
Agathe.

Why do you believe this logo to predate the other one?

That's the only swirl logo that has been official but I personnally prefer
the glossy one. I don't see any harm in using the glossy one for the
package tracker. So I'm closing this bug.

That's correct.
