I think there is no reason to keep gromit in Debian.
It is an old source and depends on GTK 2.
There is already a replacement, already in Debian, gromit-mpx
Therefore I think Its useless to port the original to GTK 3.
I do not want to make a RM myself and do not want to place this bug in the
gromit bug list. Sorry for this.
