Yes, it is definitely an upstream bug 1432484.
Setting "NSS_SDB_USE_CACHE=yes" helps.

I'm still surprised how profound performance regression is on "cert9.db",
given how many SQLite files are in Firefox profile directory...
If upstream introduced automatic detection of NFS then perhaps they should
consider using NSS_SDB cache for all FUSE file systems as well...
