As a reminder, the value of the "Forwarded" state can also be implicit depending on other fields. So a plain copy of the field is not sufficient, you would have to parse "Origin" and "Bug" too. http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep3/ Actually I see that only "Bug" can influence its default value, though we could argue that an origin field with "uptsream" or "backport" marker could set a default value of "yes" as well.
