apart from what pabs said (of opening a bug at the package), be aware
that 1.14 << 1.D9 (i.e. the new version sorts before the old one)
This is probably a problem that upstream created, but it's very
incovenient for us, and every solution to that are ugly; you might want
to think of this and write something on that bug you're going to open.
