If this is what I need to do then I'm afraid it would cause me no longer to be interested. I think I have the time to pick up the current service and make sure it keeps working, but I'm not going to have time for any major refactoring. Wouldn't a better approach be to resurrect the existing service as-is for the sake of the people who want to use it today, and *then* worry about getting somebody to reimplement it on top of a different framework?
