After digging around in the Source.gz file
(ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/Sources.gz) i
found 20 Vcs-* entries with the following issue:
E.g. package entagged:
The Vcs-Svn field looks like this:
Vcs-Svn: svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-java/trunk/entagged
Which essentially breaks debcheckout and also violates (as far as i
understand it) Section 5.6.26 of the Debian Policy Manual
(http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-VCS-fields),
so it's worth a bug IMHO.
Dropping the "+ssh" part leads to working urls. So my question is: Is
there some way (or recommendation) to easily file this bug against ~20
packages? Or is this maybe not worth a bug? I would rather file this
issue as a bug in favor of contacting Maintainers directly, just to make
sure emails don't get lost. I'm also fine with opening those bugs one by
one.
