Hi Russ,

I installed a local lintian 2.4.3 backport on a Lenny system, and it made
similar locale errors. Then I backported man-db 2.5.7-3, tried lintian again,
and it made no error. Downgrading man-db back to version 2.5.2-4 restored
the error messages.

Have a nice day,
