Hi, I'd like to get some work done on the txt2tags package, which seems to have an inactive maintainer, csurchi.
Christian seems to be active on lists but not maintenance duties. txt2tags in particular hasn't had an upload in three years, and meanwhile has nine open bugs, most of which are unacknowledged, and two new upstream versions. At least one maintainer and I have tried to get in touch with Christian through direct mail and the BTS, with no response. I'd really like to get txt2tags into good shape, but I first want to check that there isn't already a QA or MIA effort in progress for it. I'll accept your advice on whether to do a QA upload and be an uploader or hijack and be the full maintainer. It seems a reasonably stable package.
