Hi. As you probably know if you've read my messages so far, I've triplified UDD in order to export facts like : - bugs - bug submitters - contributors (known in UDD in carnivore tables) - bugs submitted, by submitter - bugs by package etc.
I've installed a demonstration server at : http://kilauea.int-evry.fr:8081/triplify/UDD/ with the UDD dump I've just downloaded. I hope the machine won't burn while you query it. Here's a starting point to navigate the graph : http://kilauea.int-evry.fr:8081/triplify/UDD/carnivore/949 (use any number to try accessing other people's FOAF profiles) You may also try and access UDD/user/XXXXXXXXXXX with XXXXXXXXXXX being your SHA1-ized "mailto:yourm...@youraddress.com", which is common practice to represent email addresses on the Semantic Web (lile foaf:mbox_sha1sum). Of course the visualization of the RDF triples may be more interesting with RDF enabled tools like firefox plugin "Tabulator Extension" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5596) More docs are available at : https://picoforge.int-evry.fr/cgi-bin/twiki/view/Helios_wp3/Web/TriplifyUddToRdf This still needs some polishing, but I hope it will illustrate some interesting uses of the Semantic Web with UDD. I'd like to get your feedback on that prototype. Ultimately, I'd see something like this running on udd.debian.org using content negociation, maybe ? Or, for the bugs, on bugs.debian.org with a RDF output for every bug queried, depending on content-negociation. For instance, a query asking for RDF on http://bugs.debian.org/535171 would retrieve a document similar to : http://kilauea.int-evry.fr:8081/triplify/UDD/issue/535171 Then, the URI http://bugs.debian.org/535171 would make such a bug a real participant to LinkedData Again, comments, remarks and critics much welcome.
