Hi Paul, Relatively few packages still depend on tcl8.3 nowadays, and 8.5 is already in unstable. In the interest of reducing duplication and thus easing maintenance of stable releases I wondered why the tcl8.4 regression in [1] is still an issue? (The bug happened four years ago, after all).
