i also suggest to remove it from the archive. I was in contact with upstream's
list while looking at #379497. According to them it is indeed dead upstream and
full of other RC-alike bugs. As far as i can see there are no packages
currently depending on libjpeg-mmx stuff other than texmacs which does declare
a Recommend on `libjpeg-progs | libjpeg-mmx-progs'.
