Hello QA-Team,
I am interested in keeping goobox current in Etch. The maintainer (who is
in NM) seems MIA (c.f. [1] where Vorlon indicates that orphaning may
be appropriate): Dan Korostelev ([EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) has 4 packages in Debian:

Name: Last upload
rhythmbox-applet 2005-05-16
goobox 2005-05-02
gnome-art 2005-04-24
gnome-ppp 2005-03-25

My main aim is to keep goobox in good shape (I have never used the
other apps). If some Debian maintainer is interested in taking over
goobox afterwards I would be happy to help him/her. Otherwise I[3] will
ask my usual sponsor if he could upload goobox for me as well.

I already prepared a new package, the diff for the latest upstream can
be found in [2]. That version closes 5 of the 7 open bugs in goobox
(please note that I probably do some more QA and #314066 has been
updated in the mean time as well).

Do you think it is sensible to orphan goobox (and possibly the other
packages as well)?

Greetings

           Helge
