Dear Craig Sanders, I have noticed that your package "par" has not been updated in a while. A new upstream version has been made available at http://www.nicemice.net/par/ for a while now. As far as I can see this release should fix outstanding bugs on par.
However, the changes required in order to do this seem to be beyond that which is permissible in an NMU. I would like to maintain this package as I use it regularly. Would you be willing to orphan this package? Regards, Kapil. cc: Debian-QA Group. --
