Hello,
In former times (iirc before it was moved to merkel) the news-section
also listed uplods to experimental, but now they are missing. Check
for example http://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gnome-applets.html
2.6.0-1 has been uploaded on March-27.

What may have happened is that the mail announcing the upload has been
received while the disk was full and it was lost.

Nothing has changed in the setup since that time. That's why I'm closing
this bug.
