Matt, Thank you for your reply. It seems there is enough interest to keep this package in sarge, so I have no doubt sarge will ship with ssmtp. Thank you for having maintained ssmtp so far, I shall now proceed to orphan the package, so somebody can take over maintainance of it. If you have any tips or useful files lying around for a prospective new maintainer, you can mail them to the bug report you'll be seeing in your mailbox shortly.
