This is a transitional problem because master was out of diskspace. This is supposedly (at least temporarily) solved though, so on next cron run, pages will be back up. The scripts could have some better error handling, so that when write fails, it won't continue, and the new, broken version won't be put over the old working version. Whether it's worth the effort is a different matter of course, if diskspace is plenty, it isn't usually needed.
